Cadbury Commons Gallery Opens !

Cadbury Commons will inaugurate its new Gallery at the Opening Reception of A Winter Gathering on Sunday, December 6, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Works by 13 artists of North Cambridge Arts (NoCA) group will be featured conjointly with The Brickyard Café at 70 Atrium Street. Work of four members of the NoCA group will be hung at Cadbury’s Gallery: painters Janet Hobbs, Catherine Ezell, and Steve Barylick and photographer David Levitt. Come share in a celebration of the season, the arts, the artists, and a new community resource in which to connect them. The Cadbury Commons Gallery will be open daily from 10 am to 4 pm for the month of December, with future exhibitions planned seasonally.

Cadbury’s annual Holiday party on Thursday, December 10, will feature a delicious buffet dinner preceded by Figgy Pudding—which in this case is a perfectly acceptable menu. It turns out that the aforementioned Figgy Puddin’ is a quartet of Victorian carolers, rather than a dessert, to put us into the holiday spirit. And, of course, dessert will follow.
